Situation
Organization was in search of a new leader to help push the organization to new level, build culture, diversify funders, and serve as the external face of the statewide organization. This search required the input of many different stakeholders, including internal and external. Given the gravitas of the role, and impact it would have in the organization and the sector, there was also a need for a respected authority in the space.
Action
In this full-cycle executive search, we tapped into our numerous connections in the state and utilized the connections of the Board of Directors to ensure candidates were well respected in the field and as leaders. Over the course of an extensive but fast-paced process, we facilitated meetings with various stakeholders from across the state, ensuring all voices were heard, and exhausted all our resources in identifying qualified candidates. In addition to all this, we facilitated an objective process in which to evaluate the various needs of the organization.

Ultimately, the hired candidate was a well-respected leader in the world of Early Childhood with deep connections and a history of building effective and welcoming cultures.
